Learning Activities for Formative Assessment in the Elementary Math Classroom

Presentation, Templates, & Activities for k-5

Formative Assessments - adapted for SPM

Focus: Teachers already use various techniques in the classroom to learn how their students are thinking about math. We can use directed questioning to help listen to the information our students provide to us (on how they are learning) to better inform our instructional decisions. Data can both inform and form practice.

-Think: Assessment for Learning- -Different: Assessing Competence-
