Our team understood the importance of coming up with a solution, and being able to give back to help others; there are two Innovative Mindset principles that allowed us to find this solution. Knowing Our Why was the key initiator in this process. All of us shared common beliefs and values in the Cyber World, so we decided to take advantage of this situation in finding a common problem; a problem that us, the team, can relate to with our future clients. It needed to be personal for both parties, which allowed us to show our passion behind this product. Empathetic and Human-Centered is the second principle we all follow and share in this team. To find a solution to someone else's problem, you must be the person and view the world how they see fit; you almost must become that person to come up with an effective solution. Doing so allowed this team to conclude our product design and idea.
After a series of surveys and interviews were conducted by our team, we were able to grasp a common problem among our target audience: risk of leaked passwords and personal account information. Our target audience were, specific but not limited to, people uninformed about safe online practices and the cyberspace as a whole. To minimize this problem, we wanted to come up with a product solution that's easy-to-use and affordable for our clients.
