A truck carrying a boat in a trailer fails to back the boat into the water at the boat launch. He pulls forward and tries to back in again. Once again, he fails. Fed up with trying to back the boat in, the truck pulls forward, turns around, and drives the truck and boat straight into the water.
It is only fitting that my procrastination would finally catch up with me for my (hopefully) final undergraduate assignment.
The animation above is lacking shadows, the complexity of the tree model makes rendering take a long time. The video above, without shadows, took 8 hours to render.
I have been rendering the shadowed version since 2:48 on Monday. As of writing this I am more than 9 hours into rendering and am only 1/8th of the way through.
Update: At 1:30 pm on Tuesday, my computer has rendered 135 of the total 720 frames. Here is one of them below. At least the shadows do look good.
Unfortunately it seems for me to render this how I would like it too look I would have to render for about a week. I might do it just for my own personal pride but at this point its impossible to do it fast enough for this project. Hopefully you still enjoy the animation above.
