About Me

I've been at William & Mary since 1993 when I enrolled in the master's program in English Literature. Since then, I've been a faculty member here in English, a Departmental Liaison with IT with a focus on the Humanities, and an eLearning Specialist with the Associate Provost for eLearning Initiatives. I'm currently transitioning, along with the rest of the eLearning team, to the Studio for Teaching & Learning.

Things I'm Working on Now

Digital Humanities Working Group:

This group of instructors and co-educators at William & Mary is involved in exploring various avenues within the digital humanities, from teaching students the concepts and skills needed to understand and communicate in this environment, to academic research, to exploring programmatic opportunities. Teaching & Learning Innovations Project:

The Studio for Teaching & Learning Innovation is beginning to collect narratives and examples of innovative teaching from instructors at William & Mary. Interviews with faculty members will be archived and featured on our website. If you'd like to participate, please contact me for an interview.
