My activities as a professor at William & Mary include:

mentoring underrepresented students for two years as a Fellow for the William & Mary Scholars Undergraduate Research Experience
conducting a year-long project on classroom accessibility for students with disabilities as a Fellow for Teaching Excellence at the Studio for Teaching & Learning Innovation
improving the university-wide undergraduate curriculum for two years as a Fellow of the Center for the Liberal Arts
being promoted to the rank of Teaching Professor of English and Linguistics
I hold the PhD in linguistics with a specialization in sociolinguistics from Georgetown University, a masters in linguistics from the University of Oxford, and a BA in linguistics and history from William & Mary.
