Who We Are

Our team members have different experiences with cybersecurity, but we are united by our shared desire to make cybersecurity more accessible. We joined the Innovate Cyber Challenge because it allows us to relate cybersecurity practice to the real world while practicing an entrepreneurial mindset.

We come from a range of academic backgrounds--our team include members who are majoring in Cybersecurity as well as Cybersecurity Management and Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering. This allows us to combine our technical knowledge in a variety of areas, such as computer networks, programming, engineering, and human factors.

In addition, we have varied extracurricular experience. Some of our team members have extensive experience in hands-on cybersecurity practice through internships and cybersecurity coursework. A few of us have experience creating apps, and a few of us have tutored students. This combination of skill sets led us to the idea of Fortify, which teaches basic cybersecurity principles through an educational app.
