This mock-up presents a proposed redesign of the Libraries website. The redesign collects information that is currently scattered, and sometimes duplicated, throughout the Libraries website, and organizes it into patron categories: students, faculty & staff, and community patrons (members of the public). Although many sections are duplicated on the three patron pages, especially the "Students" page and the "Faculty & Staff" page, the information in those sections is unique to the corresponding patron category. Another benefit of the redesign is that the Faculty & Staff page can now be moved to NOVAnet without losing any relevant information.
The redesign consists of the following pages:
Libraries home page
About Us
Students (currently named "Student Resources"; is there another word besides "Resources" that we can use?)
Faculty & Staff (currently named "Faculty & Staff Resources"; is there another word besides "Resources" that we can use?)
Community Patrons (this is a new page dedicated to members of the public; adjust the name of this page so that it is consistent with whatever we decide the names of the previous two page will be.)
Contact Us
The following pages will be added to the Libraries website as a result of the redesign:
Community Patrons
The following pages on the current Libraries website will be obsolete as a result of the redesign, and therefore should be deleted:
Borrow, Renew, Request
Course Reserves (subpage of "Student Resources" page)

Questions:
How can we organize the content on the three parton pages is a more user-friendly and interesting way, rather than just a bunch of text? Would cards help? Would images help?
