Hello my name is J. John-Lewis (I promise I am a lot nicer than the way I presented myself in the image). I was given the task to do a research project on any subject I wanted. I was passionate to do an online community with a negative stigma so I could learn more than just the information that was being spread throughout the media. There were many candiates such as Weeaboos (Fans of Anime) or Kidults (Kid + Adults, adults who like children content.) But the one community that caught my eye the most was furries. Furries are fans of "anthropomorphic" animals which means animals with human qualities. Popular examples would be Mickey Mouse or Bluey. A supposing "harmless" infatuation and community has gotten themselves in a lot of controversy.  The subject of my project itself is more light hearted and unique so I structured my project as a quirky YouTube commentary video. I tell jokes, make edits, mess up lines, leave bloopers. I am trying to present, not just information, but an experience.
