Michael Hopkins Time Lines

1957

Born in Chillicothe, Ohio

1964

Move to Xenia, Ohio where started school and lived with my parents and only brother who was four years younger.

1972

A passenger in a horrific car accident. Sustained a broken neck. In the Hospital for weeks in traction and released with a body cast.

Brother passed away from Cancer at 11 years old.

1974

The city of Xenia had a Tornado wipe out a third of the city. The High School and one of its two Middle schools along with four grade schools destroyed. Around 30 people killed.

1976

Graduated High School.

Started working full time for General Motors as a laborer.

1982

Married with one son.

General Motors closes down and lays off all employees,

Joins the U.S. Navy and starts boot camp in Orlando, Florida

1983

After attending various Navy schools get assigned to the USS Sylvania AFS-2 out of Norfolk, Virginia.

Fly from the US to meet the ship in the Middle East.

1984

Ships completes the deployment.

Move family from Ohio to Norfolk, VA

Birth of my second son.

1986

Wife leaves me while deployed on my third deployment on the Sylvania. Moves to Ohio and takes both children with her.

Wife leaves children with my parents and disappears somewhere in Michigan.

Parents drive children to Norfolk and I become a single father.

1998

Advance to the rank of Chief Petty Officer in the Navy.

2000

Marry a British woman move into the county in Ivor, Virginia.

2001

Advance to the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer in the Navy.

2005

Birth of my daughter.

2006

Retired from the US Navy.

Start work as a Navy contractor at Norfolk Naval Base.

2007

Death of my Mother while deployed as a contractor onboard a Naval ship.

2009

Divorced

2011

Married the love of my life in Virginia Beach in my best friends back yard.

2016 to present.

Changed jobs and hired as a Senior Logistics Specialist working at Cheatem Annex Yorktown Weapons Station.

Purchased a lot and had a home built in Toano, Virginia. Moved in December 29^th, of 2016.
