Hand Lettering Cover Design

Hand lettering is a versatile skill every designer should have in their toolbox. Stylistically, this trend never feels outdated and is adopted by designers with every generation. The hand-made qualities of brush typography, when done well, is an excellent complement to the geometric forms of foundry created typefaces and photography. Designers were tasked with recreating one of their favorite book titles using traditional hand-lettering mediums such as India ink, markers and paint, which were then composited using InDesign and Photoshop.
