Watch Design Project

The Watch Design project involves creating a design to fit inside a watch face. The project series began in 2015 when graphic arts instructor Chava Maimon partnered with Connecting Hearts, a non-profit organization assisting with foster care and adoption, to create watch designs as a fundraiser. Although the organization ended selling watches as a fundraiser in 2017, students still benefit from creating based on a real-world project that can lead to a more impressive portfolio. A sampling of designs created in 2019 are shown below.
