Eliza (Eli) Smith's teaching portfolio

Hello! My name is Eli Smith (she/they), also known as Ms. E! I am a recent Cum Laude graduate of Piedmont Virginia Community College with an Associate of Science in Education, as well as a Uniform Certificate of General Studies. I plan to transfer to a four year institution in 2026 and will be working towards my Masters in Education and a certification in Library Science. I have worked with children for many years through numerous programs, such as The Virginia Discovery Museum, DMR Acting School, Barnes and Noble Children's Program, and Free Union Country School. Throughout my educational process, I have assisted in a wide variety of classrooms through all levels of education, including Special Education and English Language Learning classes. As an avid lover of books, Dungeons & Dragons, video games, and all worlds both real and fantasy, I encourage a learning environment filled with creativity, hands on experiences, and out-of-the-box thinking. I look forward to continuing my educational process and my work with children of all ages!
