Eliza (Eli) Smith's teaching portfolio

Hello! My name is Eli Smith (she/they), also known as Ms. E! I am a recent Cum Laude graduate of Piedmont Virginia Community College with an Associate of Science in Education, as well as a Uniform Certificate of General Studies. I will be transferring to George Mason University in Fall 2026 to major in Secondary Education English and minor in Environmental Conservation, with plans to earn a Masters at the University of Virginia in the coming years. I have worked with children for many years through numerous programs, such as The Virginia Discovery Museum, DMR Acting School, Barnes and Noble Children's Program, and Free Union Country School. Throughout my educational process, I have assisted in a wide variety of classrooms through all levels of education, including Special Education and English Language Learning classes. As an avid lover of books, Dungeons & Dragons, video games, and all worlds both real and fantasy, I encourage a learning environment filled with creativity, hands on experiences, and out-of-the-box thinking. I look forward to continuing my educational process and my work with children of all ages!
