Honorable Mentions

The following three essays made it to the final round of the Writing Center’s sixth annual Personal Essay Contest. We enjoyed the authors' use of vivid details and clear, strong voice. Each essay is preceded by an introduction written by a Writing Center tutor. These authors portrayed important issues and difficult challenges with honest emotion and vulnerability. Accompanying art is by PVCC students.
