About the Play

Setting

ACT I

ACT II

A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of Shakespeare's most popular comedies. It follows four young lovers: Hermia, Demetrius, Lysander, and Helena as they escape parental interference and flee into the woods. The lovers become entangled with the fairy kingdom as the mischievous Puck casts spells on them for the entertainment of the King and Queen of the fairies. A band of would-be actors who have come to the woods to rehearse are also caught in the spell. In the end, order is restored, love triumphs and the play within a play is performed as a wedding gift. Our production sets the play in the 60's and 70's so get ready for some serious disco madness!

Fun for the whole family, Midsummer runs select dates from November 5th - 13th.
