The 2025 Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Poster Paper Competition
一、競賽目的Objectives
為提昇中興大學數據與人工智慧專業學院(以下稱本學院)學生於數據科學與人工智慧相關領域研究風氣以及表達能力，鼓勵學生發表並展示相關研究之成果，舉辦本院學生海報論文競賽。
This competition aims to foster a strong research culture and enhance the presentation skills of students within the School of Informatics and Data Science, National Chung Hsing University (hereinafter “SIDS”). It encourages students to present and showcase their research achievements in data science and artificial intelligence–related fields.
二、參賽資格Eligibility
本院之在學學生，含應用數學系所、統計所、資料科學與資訊計算所、大數據產學研發博士學位學程、大數據碩士在職專班、人工智慧與資料科學碩士在職學位學程等單位。競賽組別分為大學組(得團體報名)及碩博士組(僅限個人報名)。競賽主題包含下列領域，但不限於：人工智慧、資料科學、數學建模、數據分析與統計方法、跨領域相關應用(如醫療、農業、電腦視覺、交通、金融等)。
Applicants must be currently enrolled students of the SIDS, including the Department of Applied Mathematics, the Graduate Institute of Statistics, the Graduate Institute of Data Science and Information Computing, the Doctoral Program in Big Data Analytics for Industrial Applications, the Executive Master Program in Big Data, and the Executive Master Program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The competition is divided into two divisions: 1. Undergraduate Division (Group registration is permitted)；2. Master's/Ph.D. Division (Individual registration only). Competition themes include, but are not limited to, the following fields: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematical Modeling, Data Analysis and Statistical Methods, and related interdisciplinary applications (e.g., healthcare, agriculture, computer vision, transportation, finance, etc.).
三、競賽時程Competition Timeline
1. 報名起始日：11月10日(一)
Registration Opens: November 10 (Monday)
2. 收件截止日：12月1日(一) 中午12點前止
Submission Deadline: December 1 (Monday), 12:00 PM
3. 決賽隊伍通知日：12月5日(五) 下午5點
Finals Notification Day: December 5 (Friday), 5:00 PM
4. 決賽日與口頭報告報告時間：12月11日(四) 12:10~13:30 (暫訂)，地點於複賽結果通知日公告。
Final Round & Oral Presentations: December 11 (Thursday), 12:10 PM – 1:30 PM (Tentative). The venue will be announced concurrently with the preliminary round results.
四、競賽方式Competition Format
本競賽分初賽與決賽方式進行，說明如下：
This competition consists of a preliminary round and a final round, as described below:
(一)初賽 Preliminary Round
1. 以線上審查方式進行。

3. 投稿論文以報名競賽網站提供下載之格式、A1 (594 mm x 841 mm)海報格式投稿，同時應於海報論文中清楚標明指導教授名字。投稿海報論文格式下載連結https://reurl.cc/4byq13
Submissions must be in A1 poster format (594 mm x 841 mm), utilizing the templates provided for download on the competition website (available in Chinese and English). The name of the advising professor must be clearly indicated on the poster paper. Download poster template here: https://reurl.cc/4byq13
4. 投稿論文篇幅以 1頁 為限，中英文皆可，須有論文標題、作者、摘要、前言、資料與方法、結果與討論、參考文獻。
The poster paper is limited to one (1) page. Submissions are accepted in Chinese or English and must include the following sections: Title, Author(s), Abstract, Introduction, Data and Methods, Results and Discussion, and References.
5. 繳交論文格式不符、圖文不清楚致無法判識、未依照競賽指引撰寫者而導致資格不符合者，不予以計分。
Submissions that fail to conform to the specified format, contain illegible graphics or text, or do not adhere to competition guidelines will not be scored.
6. 初賽評分原則為原創性、技術性、完整性與邏輯架構等。
Judging Criteria: Originality, Technicality, Completeness, and Logical Structure.
(二)決賽 Final Round
1. 於海報前以口頭報告的方式進行。
The final round will be conducted as an oral presentation delivered by the participant in front of their poster.
2. 評分原則為口頭報告內容完整性與流暢度。
Judging Criteria: Completeness and fluency of the oral presentation.
3. 未出席視同放棄參加決賽。
Failure to attend the final round will be deemed a withdrawal from the competition.
五、競賽獎項 Awards
(一)各組別(碩博士組/大學組)將頒發以下獎項：
The following awards will be presented for each division (Master's/Ph.D. Division and Undergraduate Division):
1. 特優1名，頒發獎狀與獎金新台幣2萬元為原則。
Distinction (1 Winner): Certificate of Distinction and a cash prize of NT$20,000 (in principle).
2. 第一名2名，頒發獎狀與獎金新台幣1萬元為原則。
First Prize (2 Winners): Certificate of First Prize and a cash prize of NT$10,000 (in principle).
3. 第二名3名，頒發獎狀與獎金新台幣5千元為原則。
Second Prize (3 Winners): Certificate of Second Prize and a cash prize of NT$5,000 (in principle).
4. 佳作若干名，頒發獎狀。
Honorable Mention (Several Winners): Certificate of Honorable Mention.
(二) 上述獎項（含名額與獎金）如有調整，由本競賽評審委員會決議。
Modifications to the awards (including the number of winners and cash prizes) are subject to the final resolution of the competition's judging committee.
