Department Profile
生物產業管理進修學士學位學程(簡稱為「生管學程」)，其前身為「農業經營學系」，於民國八十二年八月正式於本校夜間部成立，提供為中部地區從事農業工作者進修管道；中興大學農學院於師資、設備、研究方面均相當傑出，故教育部方同意本校夜間部設立農業經營學系，招收學生五十名，其中二十五名必須保留給在職進修人員，惟入學資格仍須通過大學夜間部聯招。
Bachelor Program of Bio-Industry Management(referred to as “BPBIM”), formerly known as “Department of Agricultural Management,” was founded in 1993 and belonged to Night School of National Chung Hsing University(NCHU)with an aim to provide in-service education to agricultural workers of the central region in Taiwan.
NCHU is mainly famous for its Agricultural College nationwide;thus, the Ministry of Education agreed the Night School of NCHU to set up Department of Agricultural Management.
目前本學程的入學方式採「獨立招生甄試」，雖不再保留名額給在職進修人員，因授課時間仍維持安排在夜間時段授課，故開放學習管道裨益大學回流教育推展的教育理念與精神依然存在。
Currently, students of this program are recruited through an independent entrance examination of NCHU.Although there is no longer the reservation for in-service personnel, the spirit of open learning contributive to the recurrent education of higher education remains for all course is evening class.
系所沿革 History of Department
1993.08 奉准成立，原名「農業經營學系」
was approved to be established, formerly known as the "Department of Agricultural Management"
1997.08 夜間部轉型為進修部，本系系修業年限由四年改為五年
The night department was transformed into the advanced training department, and the length of study in this department was changed from 4 years to 5 years.
2002.08 進修部轉型為進修推廣部，本系奉命改為隸屬「農業暨自然資源學院」
The Department of Advanced Studies was transformed into the Department of Advanced Studies, and the department was ordered to be subordinate to the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
2006.08 配合教育部政策，本系與農業推廣教育研究所合併調整，奉教育部核准更名為「生物 產業推廣暨經營學系」
In accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Education, the department merged and adjusted with the Institute of Agricultural Extension Education, and was renamed "Department of Biological Industry Promotion and Management" after the approval of the Ministry of Education.
2009.08 奉教育部核准更名為「生物產業暨城鄉資源管理學系」
Renamed as "Department of Biological Industry and Urban and Rural Resource Management".
2010.08 奉教育部核准更名為「生物產業管理進修學士學位學程」
Changed its name to "Bachelor of Advanced Studies in Bioindustry Management".
