General Information
Final Exams are scheduled for June 9-12, 2025. Exams may not be taken early.
The exam period may include paper and pencil tests, projects, presentations, etc.
The exams will allow students to demonstrate mastery of the content area or practice content based skills.
Final exams will concentrate primarily on the learning from second semester.
Study guides and expectations should be reviewed and posted on Google Classroom the week before exams.
Each exam period is 1 hour and 45 minutes with a 15 minute snack break in between.
Students are dismissed after the final scheduled exam of the day.
The buses will run on a regular schedule all week.
Lunch will be served after the last scheduled exam each day and should be ordered by Google Form ahead of time.
The final exam will count as 10% of the Semester 2 grade. Q3 and Q4 = 45% each. Each semester is worth 50% of the final grade in a FY class.
Final Exam grades are visible on the report card, but only the Final grade in a course appears on a transcript.
Study Tips
Remember that teachers are available for extra help.
Plan out the next two weeks to ensure that your questions get answered.
Remember that this is on content that you have seen previously. Reviewing prior assessments can be helpful.
As you are thinking about each subject, think about whether you remember things more when you see them or hear them and use those skills to study.
Day of the Exam Tips
Be sure to set your alarm.
Get a good night's sleep.
Eat breakfast and pack a snack.
Pack everything that you need for the test the night before.
Read through your Study Guide or Flashcards one final time.
Manage your time on the exam. Remember that the exams end at either 9:45 or 11:45.
