PARKING ON CAMPUS
Visitors are always welcome at Louisiana Tech and may use any available parking area zone except where the curb is painted red or reserved. Green handicap zones are reserved for drivers with a handicap permit or tag designation.
If you get a ticket for parking in a red or blue parking spot on campus, please bring it to the conference host who can take care of it for you, or follow the directions on the back of the ticket. Ticketing ends at around 3 PM each Friday and does not resume until the following Monday morning, so weekend visitors shouldn't get a ticket.
If you need to park a large vehicle on campus, please call the School of Music Office (318.257.5473, during regular business hours) as far in advance as possible so that we can help you make parking arrangements.

RIDE-SHARING
Ride-sharing services, such as Uber, are available, but availability of drivers is somewhat limited. Although you can technically take an Uber from one of the nearby airports, it can cost upwards of $80-$100 (not including tip) to use this services to get to or from the Monroe airport, and well over $100 (not including tip) to get to or from the Shreveport airport.
RENTAL CARS
TAXI & LIMOUSINE SERVICES
We cannot guarantee that all of the taxi services listed are currently in business, nor can we guarantee that the ones that are in business have availability when you may need them. It is STRONGLY recommended that you call well in advance if you plan to use one of these services. Because trips are likely 30+ miles (to Monroe) or 60+ miles (to Shreveport), the cost to use one of these services may be especially high and could be comparable - or more - than rental car rates.
