About the Philippine Metabolomics Network (PMN)
The Philippine Metabolomics Network (PMN) is a collaborative initiative dedicated to advancing metabolomics research in the Philippines. This network was initiated by Prof. Dr. Gerard Bryan Gonzales, with the goal to bring together scientists, researchers, and institutions to promote metabolomics and its role in health, agriculture, and the environment. Through virtual meetings, annual conference, workshops, and research collaborations, PMN aims to build capacity and foster inter-institutional and interdisciplinary collaboration. Notably, the network organized the inaugural Philippine Metabolomics Colloquium in June 2024, marking a significant step in uniting the country's metabolomics community.
