Do you want to create a workshop or guide on any of these topics at your organization? Here are resources you can use, sorted by topic (generally). Questions on materials or facilitation practices? Contact Celeste Atkins.
Remember that these are sensitive subjects, and that you want to create safe places to discuss and learn - without causing stress to people in your organization who already deal with microaggressions or bigoted behavior on a regular basis. In our workshop we used humor to help with this, and many of these videos and articles are humorous looks at serious subjects.
Choose the resources that you feel will be most useful in your particular organization, and know that it probably won't be perfect the first, second, or even many times down the road! Becoming inclusive (anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, anti-transphobic) is a process and we all are continually learning. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, just be willing to listen, apologize, and learn.
*Titles borrow their structure from the title of the excellent book "So You Want to Talk About Race" by Ijeoma Oluo.
