  • Cumulative exam, covers topics throughout whole year

Components of Exam

  • SPEAKING: 2 conversations with teacher (taken before finals week)

  • WRITING: 1 essay written (taken before finals week)

  • LISTENING: multiple choice (taken during finals week)

  • READING: multiple choice (taken during finals week)

  • GRAMMAR: multiple choice (taken during finals week)

The Basics

  • FLACS exam is taken in 2 different parts

    • Speaking

    • Listening, Reading, Writing

  • FLACS exam weighs as 2 EXAMS for 4th quarter

  • Cumulative, covers topics from 7th + 8th grade

  • Must pass FLACS exam AND course to advance to Spanish 2 in high school
