HOVERCAM INFORMATION
Tips for Using the Hovercam:
- Pull the camera arm completely up (you may hear a slight click) before opening the arm.
- Make sure it is plugged into a USB port in your computer. (It doesn’t matter which USB port you use.)
- If you don’t see a blue light on the base of the camera when it is opened, it isn’t plugged in.
- The top light can be turned on and off using the switch on the top edge of the camera. This may be helpful when using glossy specimens.
- Anything under the camera can be photographed and saved using the red button that looks like a camera (in scan mode).
- Annotations can be applied to live video as well as pictures that you take using the Hovercam.
- Every image and video can be saved in the archive.
- If the camera is out of focus, you can adjust it by using the small wheel on the arm of camera (although it usually auto-focuses)
