Community Resources
DASH, (Diagnostic, Assessment and Stabilization Hub), 90 Adams Avenue, Hauppauge, NY 11788, 631/ 952-3333 (24/7/365 hotline number): can be accessed for:
Children ages 5 and older, adolescents, and adults
Immediate assessment, counseling and care management intervention for the individual’s need (i.e. mental health, substance abuse)
Mobile Response Team (MRT), which includes nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselors and peer specialists who will deliver crisis care within the community (i.e. within schools, homes, businesses, and other locations)
Connection to further and more appropriate services, if needed.
