Disney
101 Dalmatians Play
(June 8th & 10th)
Ms. Warren will be running the art/stage crew.
Constructing the set(s) will begin after school in the art room from 2:15-3:15 the week of March 12th on Thursdays. Students will need a ride home from school @ 3:15 each week (or a note saying they go to after-care). There will be NO meeting on April 2 or 9th (Easter Break).. Our last meeting should be June 4th.
We have a great lego wall with just a small set of LEGO's. If you're tired of stepping on them at home, we'd be happy to take any of your LEGO donations. We will use them in our art club and during "Free Draw" times. Please send them to my attention at James H. Boyd!

Please bring your imagination, creativity and curiosity!
I love my Kindergarten classes! If you have any old shirts that can be donated to the classroom, we will be using them for smocks on Wednesdays. Your child might get messy in the art class,
so any donations would be helpful.

I am looking forward to working with my wonderful 3rd, 4th and 5th graders! If you have any old button down shirts that can be donated to the classroom, we will be using them for smocks on your art day. Your child might get messy in the art class, so if you want them to keep their clothes clean, please send in a smock for them to use. Please put in a gallon zip-lock baggie if you want your child to have their own personal smock.
Homework assignments for Ms. Chris Warren's classes:
Generally speaking, my classes are all studio based, in which the majority of work is done in class. This does not mean, however, that there is no homework. Every Friday, the assignment my students are sent home with is the challenge to commit a random act of kindness. This does not mean emptying the dishwasher or doing the laundry. What it means is that my students are asked to do something kind for someone who did not ask for it. Not to be cliché, but I am asking my kids to pay it forward. Do something for no other reason but to be kind, helpful and otherwise a valuable contributor to society. It is my hope that when my students commit these random acts of kindness that they will feel so good about what they do, that they start to do it on a regular basis, thereby inciting a rash of kindness and goodwill in and around the great hamlet of Elwood.
