I have my degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Central Missouri. I have worked at Elsberry with Parents As Teachers for 24 years! My favorite thing about being a parent educator is the lasting relationships that are formed with the families I have served and are serving. I also love watching the growth that occurs in children as well as the confidence building and empowerment in the parents. The thing I enjoy in my personal life the most is spending time with my family! I have been married to my husband, Terry, for 32 years and we live on our families' farm where we raised our two sons, Nathan & Nicholas. We welcomed a sweet grandbaby girl in the spring of 2023, Miss Stevie Lee. It is amazing to meet your child's child and watch them fall in love with their own like you fell in love with them so many years ago. Being a "Lolli" has been the greatest gift! This job has allowed me to be so much apart of my childrens' and now my grandbabies' lives and I will be forever grateful.

I have been an Elsberry Parents As Teachers educator for 23 years. I moved to Elsberry, from St. Charles, Missouri, in 2002. The good Lord paired me with my loving husband, Scott, and He blessed us with 2 beautiful daughters. I truly enjoy being with children and watching them grow and develop. I love seeing the 'lightbulb' turn on and the expression of accomplishment when they master a new skill. I enjoy talking with children; listening to their interpretation of what's going on in their world. Outside of Parents As Teachers, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, camping, traveling and visiting the different National Parks, fishing, biking, crocheting, and reading.
