All volunteers will need to fill out an online application form which can be obtained from our website: www.elohehequine.org. All volunteers aged 18 and older must complete a background check before attending Volunteer Orientation. An email with the link will be sent to you after your application is submitted (be sure you complete the form by signing at the end which includes an email verification). After volunteers have completed the online application we will reach out and set up a time for your first orientation.
Minor Volunteers
Children ages 8-13 years old must be accompanied by an adult who will complete all tasks with the child while they are at the farm. Children ages 14 and up are eligible to be at the farm without their parent or guardian as long as it has been prearranged with a staff member.

The cost is $21.95, and the results will be emailed directly to the Volunteer Department. Please allow a few days for the results to process, prior to attending your Volunteer Orientation. Background Checks must be completed annually.
Volunteers must complete Volunteer Orientation once their application has been accepted by the Volunteer Department. Depending on your role, you will have additional training based on duties.
Eloheh Equine, Inc. shall reserve the right of confidentiality for all individuals in its program. Volunteers shall keep confidential all medical, social, referral, personal, financial, photos and all other information pertaining to a client and his/her family. Breaching of confidentiality will result in penalties, such as loss of privileges, job responsibilities, and termination. Photos of patients and families are not allowed by volunteers.
Sexual harassment consists of unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or unwanted sexual attention by anyone associated with the facility, whether male or female. Harassment may include references to employment status or conditions or may serve to create a hostile, intimidating, or uncomfortable volunteer and work environment. Harassment includes but is not limited to, obscene jokes, lewd comments, sexual depictions, repeated requests for dates, touching, staring, or other sexual conduct committed either on or off of Eloheh Equine/Agan Ranch property. There will be ZERO tolerance for sexual harassment.
Because our volunteers are such an important part of our programs, we want all to be comfortable and happy with the people around them.
