Welcome!
My name is Bailey Beyer and I am proud to be back in the Elmwood community! I graduated from Elmwood in 2012 as valedictorian. This is currently my 5th year teaching at Elmwood.
Education and Experience
After graduating from UW-Eau Claire, I moved to Oshkosh where I taught at Berlin High School for a year. I taught pre-algebra, algebra I and II, and geometry. However, I missed this area so I moved back to the area and taught Algebra II and FST (Functions, Statistics, and Trigonometry) at River Falls High School for a year. When the opportunity arose to teach at Elmwood, I knew it was right to come give back to the community that raised me.
Since being at Elmwood, I helped implement CPM and bring transcripted credit mathematics classes and AP-Precalculus and AP-Calculus to Elmwood.
I am also completing my master's degree in Mathematics Secondary Education at UW-River Falls.
Personal Life
I met my wife, Jenna, at UW-Eau Claire in August of 2013. We married in June of 2018. We live in Plum City with our dog, Remi, and two cats, Oscar and Smokey. We welcomed our son, Quinn, in September of 2021.
