Faculty will be emailing you important information about your classes. Be sure to check your Elms email at least once a day.
Every course has a Moodle shell and many instructors will be using Moodle to share important course information such as the syllabus, how to contact them, and resources for assignments and testing. Log into Moodle at: https://moodle.elms.edu (Please note: for best performance, we recommend using Google Chrome as your browser of choice when accessing Moodle)

To enroll, you must have an Elms College issued account, which will be the same username and password you use for you Elms Gmail and ElmsConnect. You will then want to click on the link below and click on the option to 'Continue'. Once logged in, you will have access to the self-paced course for 30 days. *Please note you will also have the ability to re-enroll anytime after that as well.
Some instructors will use Zoom to hold live classes, lectures, or meetings on a specific date/time. Some faculty will email you a link to join the meeting. You can use a computer and click on the link or download the Zoom app and use your cell phone. Remember to present yourself well, as it is a class.

The Wired internet access is usually more stable than WiFi when using your computer online. If you are having difficulty with slowness or dropped connectivity, try the following:
On Zoom, drop the video and just use audio
Make sure others in your household are not streaming movies or using gaming consoles
Test your internet speed HERE or contact your internet service provider for assistance

Elms College provides the latest technology for students, including over 100 computers in the Alumnae Library, computer classrooms, computer lounges and computer labs across campus. All Computers have internet access, Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
The computer classrooms and labs are open seven days per week throughout the semester. IT staff and work-study students are available during Help Desk operating hours to provide technical support.
