At RES we have the highest expectations for our students. This means to always be on your "A-Game" while at school. Throughout the year, do your best to always find ways to S.C.O.R.E.
This year, RES wants to celebrate our students and their good behavior. Each Quarter (9-weeks) we will hold celebrations for students meeting the S.C.O.R.E. requirements. Each quarter will start over so that each student has an opportunity to participate. Here are the requirements:
Students who have no more than 2 steps on their behavior management form.
Students who have not served a bus suspension.
Students who are not chronically absent at the time of the celebration.
Students who have no days in ISS or ECAP.
Every student has a behavior management form assigned to them. Students are given 3 steps on their behavior management form before recieving an automatic office referral. Steps are behaviors that fall under a Class A offense in the Elmore County Code of Conduct. Step 1 is handled in the classroom. Teachers have the option to contact the guardian, but it is not required at Step 1. IF a student reaches Step 2, the teacher is required to call the guardian so that they are aware of the actions occurring in the classroom. IF a student reaches Step 3, the student is sent to the counselors office where they will discuss their behavior and how to move forward. Mrs. Brown will contact the guardian. IF a student reaches Step 4, the student will receive an automatic office referral. Any Class B or higher offenses are automatic office referrals and will be completed by administration.
