Statement:
My photos consist of images from my Freshman year Thanksgiving Break. They are images from a train museum in my hometown and of animals at my relative's house. I grew up going to that museum as a child and always enjoy seeing my Uncle’s dogs.
Bio:
I was born in Erie, Pennsylvania and reside in North East, Pennsylvania. I am a goalkeeper on the Elmira College Men’s Soccer team. I never got really into photography because I was never given the chance to until college. I always liked photography but it wasn’t a main passion. I am a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoy watching many sports. I enjoy watching movies and listening to music especially from the 1980’s. Taking pictures is fun to do because each one has its own story to tell and each photographer has a story as to why they took that picture.
Photographer:
Al Bello graduated with a Liberal Arts degree from the University of New York at Stony Brook in 1989. In March of 1990 Al worked as Darkroom Manager for The Ring boxing magazine. Al soon found his way by photographing boxing on a weekend basis while processing, and printing film during the week. In 1993 Al landed a position as a junior photographer at Allsport which is now a part of Getty images.
