Thematically my art has pulled aspects from my autobiographical background and core interests. While I have lived in the United States for the majority of my life, I was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and have created pieces that convey the pride and ideals associated with my culture. The use of Leopards, the national animal of the DRC, are a key part of my sculpture pieces. I have also experimented with Color Field Theory and its application through pastel. Besides formal means of artistic mediums I also produce electronic music to help substantiate my desire to explore and create soundscapes. All of these elements are the means which I use to approach art and define my style.
