Welcome to York Chess TeamThe York Chess Club is a place where students use the game of chess to make friendships, experience competition, and grow intellectually. Chess club season lasts from mid September until mid February. Our team attends numerous after-school matches and the occasional Saturday tournament. Hopefully, we play well enough to travel downstate for the IHSA Tournament.
