- The cross country teams will take a bus to the meet from Sandburg. After a parent/guardian signs the runner out, they may leave the meet. There is a small bus that will bring the coaches and any runner that needs a ride back to Sandburg.
- Parent/guardian must SIGN their STUDENT OUT with the coach by the flag before leaving the meet!! The coach will be by the SANDBURG FLAG. You can do this at any time during the meet, you do not need to wait until the race is complete and you are ready to head home. After signing out, you are able to leave with your student as soon as they are done running.
- Please remind your runner to drink water!! They are responsible for their own water at the meet. We have encouraged them to carry a water bottle with them throughout the day so they are well hydrated.
- Runners should WEAR RED to the meet.
- Course map is below. The Elmhurst College Invite was at Eldridge last weekend, so the course is well marked with two lines for runners to run inside for the majority of the race.
- Approximate Start Times:
- 4:20 - 6th/7th Girls (will run together)
- 4:40 - 6th/7th Boys (will run together)
- 5:00 - 8th Boys & Girls (will run together)
