Dixon Elementary Spring Sing 2026
WHEN: Thursday, May 28th, 2026, 1:00pm
WHERE: Dixon School, north parking lot.
Hi Dixon! Please mark your calendars - you are officially invited to attend the annual Dixon Spring Sing! This year’s theme is “Splashing into Summer," a collection of songs about the ocean, boats, sea creatures, and everything in between. More details about the concert will be shared as we approach the official date. We hope to see you there!
🌧 Rain Plan 🌧
Weather pending, the concert will be held outdoors. If it rains, the concert will be held indoors with the kids on a rotating schedule. This time schedule will be shared the week of Spring Sing if it looks like it is going to rain.
Additionally, if it rains, we may perform the movement pieces as an entire school on Dragon Day, which is Friday, June 5th. Parents are welcome to attend, but not required.
Thank you so much, and please feel free to reach out to Mr. Swenson for any questions at: swensonc@elmbrookschools.org
This year, our Spring Sing is called “Splashing into Summer.” Our reading parts will be poetry that you write! This is optional.
The main idea is water, and each grade has a mini-theme. Use the skills you learn in your unit to craft your poem.
Directions: choose a grade and write a poem about the mini-theme. I listed some more ideas to inspire your work. Write as many poems as you would like, but take your time and be thoughtful. Don’t forget your name!
