From the Elk Mound High School Student Handbook:
If a student is to miss class, it is the student’s responsibility to request any late work from the teacher and any missed notes from a classmate. Students will be given additional time to complete an assignment if they have an excused absence.
Late work not related to absences will be accepted with a deduction of 25% for each school day it is late. Assignments with an odd number of points will be rounded down.
