Bold School... Old School with a Twist

Join the Bold School Squad as we dive into the book "Bold School" by Weston Kieschnick. This high energy, fun guide will help teachers blend purposeful technology with old school wisdom to enhance instruction and learning! This book aims at putting teachers back in their rightful place as leaders in the classroom while providing a framework for implementing new technological advancements. Reading will take place on your own, but we will meet 3 times in person for 1 hour. Book pickup will be in the Middle School Library, May 26th at 3:00pm.

Centers and Small Group and Stations... OH MY!

We may feel like Dorothy, the Scarecrow and Tin Man sometimes with our teacher list of things to consider. We must know our individual student data, differentiate instruction, know our TEKS, prepare, plan and so much more. Each day we enter the classroom to face our beautifully different and unique "lions, tigers and bears". What a wonderful opportunity to pour into the future of our community. This PD session will provide you the confidence to JUST GIVE IT A GO. We will look at a variety of models and set ups for small groups, stations and centers. We will collaborate to see what has and has not worked for others. You will have time to prepare for August 2022 and plan how you can implement your ideas into a new school year.
