Dude & Dancer Participants
We hope you’re ready for your big debut! Please check in at the front desk at 5:05 for Shows 1 and 3 and 7:05 for Shows 2 and 4 in your costume (t-shirt) and ready to go! You’ll be escorted to your dancer backstage and have a moment to get onstage before showtime. When you’re finished dancing, you’ll exit the stage and go right into the auditorium to your seat. Please find your seat in the auditorium with your family beforehand so you know where you’re headed!
Show Day FAQ
● How long will each performance last? We can only estimate the time of each performance as we cannot anticipate delays. Each concert will last between 60 and 90 minutes.
● Is there an intermission? Due to the shorter length of these shows, there will be NO intermission.
● My young dancer has a costume change. Can I come back and help her? No need to worry! We want you to sit back and enjoy the show. In addition to the readily available Elite staff members, we have also assigned staff and older Student Helpers to each Mini and Petite class.
● If I have one dancer in one concert and one dancer in another concert, can they each stay backstage for their sibling’s concert? No, only dancers that are performing in a specific concert are allowed to stay backstage for their scheduled concert. The dancer that is not performing will sit with family (out of costume) and will need to purchase a ticket.
Theater Etiquette
Please help us teach our young students and your guests proper theater etiquette.
Guests late to the concert will be seated in the back rows of the theatre and will either be ushered to their seats at an appropriate time or will have to wait until intermission to be seated.
Entering and exiting the theatre should be done at intermission or at the end of the performance ONLY. True emergencies are the only exceptions.
Andrew has a strict “No food or drink in the auditorium” policy.
There are no balloons or strollers allowed in the perfoming arts center.
No photography (with or without flash) or videotaping.
Turn off all cell phones. Electronic devices such as iPads or video games are not allowed. The screens are distracting to guests and dangerous to the dancers on stage.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION AND ENJOY THE SHOW!
