Eligibility Requirements
Current high school/home-schooled students attending school in one of the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or select DoD schools who will graduate high school during the 2023-2024 academic school year (students graduating from an American or expat school abroad are not eligible for this award; individuals who have already graduated from high school are not eligible)
U.S. Citizens (not Temporary Residents), U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, OR Humanitarian Parolees - based on the guidelines utilized by U.S. Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid eligibility
Expecting to receive a high school diploma during the current academic year
Able to verify a minimum overall 3.0 GPA in high school coursework
Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. college or university
Eligibility Requirements
Be a current high school senior that resides in one of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.
Demonstrate ambition and self-drive to be a force for good in their communities by encouraging others to pursue higher education.
Be willing to provide a release to publicize their identities and information about their plans or achievements along with photographs for use in Program promotion/information.
Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).
Eligibility Requirements
Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted.
Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility.
You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.
Eligibility Requirements
Be currently enrolled in high school or home school program and graduating in the spring of 2026
Must have a minimum unweighted 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or 7.5 on a 10.0 scale
Must enroll at an accredited higher education institution in 2026-2027
If selected, attendance to the virtual awards ceremony is mandatory
Eligibility Requirements

By filling out one application, you will be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible, except for some Specialized Scholarships (see Scholarship Programs section).

Must be a high school senior with at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA, plan to pursue studies in the STEM fields at a four-year accredited college or university and show financial need.
Eligible STEM majors include computer and information systems, engineering, engineering technology, management information systems, mathematics, natural resources and conservation and physical sciences.

The top 50 finalists will be required to submit a short video.
Dependents of Edison International and SCE employees and retirees are not eligible.
Eligibility Requirements
The HSF Scholar Program is open to students of all races that identify as being of Hispanic Heritage.
U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA
Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students
Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the US, for the 2025-2026 academic year
Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)
Academic ability and achievement: How does the applicant stand out from others in terms of their academic ability and achievement? (Eligible applicants must have earned grades of all or mostly As, with no Cs or below in core academic subjects – English/language arts, math, science, social studies/history – since the beginning of 6th grade).
Leadership: How does the applicant demonstrate initiative, serve as a positive role model, and contribute positively to the world around them?
Persistence: How does the applicant show determination toward accomplishing their goals and overcoming challenges?
Financial Need: Demonstrate unmet financial need. Applicants with a family adjusted gross income (AGI) up to $95,000 are eligible to apply. During the selection process, the Foundation will conduct a full financial review which will take into account all income and assets of the student and the student’s parents. The median family adjusted gross income of last year’s entering cohort of Cooke Young Scholars was approximately $36,800.

In a good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
Additionally, a student must plan to enroll full-time, in a four-year degree program, at a US accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university.
An ideal candidate will also have:
An outstanding academic record in high school (in the top 10% of his/her graduating class)
Demonstrated leadership ability (e.g., as shown through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities)
Exceptional personal success skills (e.g., emotional maturity, motivation, perseverance, etc.)
