Abhisri Korrapati

I got interested in Neuroscience primarily through past research in which I was able to learn about the fundamentals of neuroscience and neurodegenerative diseases.

When I first started the Extended Research Program at Elio Academy, I had minimal prior knowledge regarding the demyelinating disease, multiple sclerosis. Therefore, through this research project, I gained more insight into the pathology of the disease, including the aspects of its development, diagnosis, and novel therapeutic approaches for treating the complex disease.

My past experience includes working with a digital therapeutics company, comprised of an AI-driven mobile app and wearable sensors to provide virtual treatments for neurological conditions. I also reviewed literature as research for an international program on Alzheimer's Disease treatments.
