Here are some example services done:

  • Helped a small business recover from Quickbooks network issues that prevented more than one person using it at a time

  • migrated from a cloud-based network drive and brought all data to local file storage, with backup.

  • fixed sudden loss of email due to (someone, not me!) who was messing with a domain name.

  • designed a robust and fully programmed 40-camera CCTV system with industry-grade hardware and provided maintenance for one year.

  • resolved a source of constant and irritating pop-ups on a client computer

  • wired a 7-office suite with network jacks and patch panel (I don't do this anymore, I don't like running wire that much)

  • designed and configured a multi-point WIFI system serving 60+ apartment units ( an electrician did the wiring and physical installing!)

  • fixed various glitches with Outlook and email not working

  • fixed an automatic parking gate that wouldn't open reliably (a single wire in a bundle was broken!)

  • I don't sell hardware, but I do research and recommend the correct equipment to buy for whatever you need in IT.

  • I routinely sleuth issues when computers, printers and networks don't work as intended

  • talked a client out of entering into an expensive service contract because it was not in their best interest!

  • Did a survey of a client's entire network for future planning purposes

  • spent nearly 2 hours on the phone advising on how to best use a feature in a cloud software suite.

Please note: If you need run-of-the-mill computer repair, I'd suggest going to a local shop as they may be a better value. I unfortunately do not do hardware repairs such as fixing broken screens, keyboard replacements, etc.
