Alia Cathey

(Senior)
Alia is such an outstanding young lady. She is full of personality and is a pleasure to be around. She works hard in school and does a great job balancing college and high school classes. She has really grown up over the past year and I am excited to see what the future holds for her. Keep up the good work Alia! - Mr. Block

Sofia Vera

Sofia has worked hard in her classes this semester and I can see that she is becoming much more confident as a student. She is a great example of what can happen when a student combines hard work with an opportunity. She knows that going to college after high school is a reality and understands how great of an opportunity ECHS is for her! I am very proud of her! -Coach Morgan

Jaden Strong

Jaden is consistent with his study habits and his work ethic which results in meaningful learning across the board. Jaden has the grit and determination along with perseverance to see himself through the tough subjects that will come his way as he takes his college journey to Texas A&M after graduation. Alumni Spotlight: WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

Isaac Gaspar - Class of 2019

Tarleton State University

Isaac Gaspar graduated from the Elgin Early College High School program in 2019. He currently attends Tarleton State University and will graduate in 2021 with his Bachelors degree in Psychology. He is a member of the psychology club and plays on the rugby team. When asked about Early College High School he said, "Early College taught me a lot about time management and organization. Being a part of the program helped me learn how to study for tests, format papers, and get my assignments done on time. It was a great experience and it helped me get a head start on college. I recommend this program for students who plan on attending college after high school. Being part of this program really helped prepare me to be successful at Tarleton State."
