Field trips are held at various locations in Utah, always on the same day. As often as possible, field trips are planned to be within an hour drive of your region, but students are welcome to attend any field trip as long as parents are willing to drive. Elevated Charter School does not provide transportation to or from field trips, and a parent or legal guardian must sign each student in and out, if the parent/guardian is not staying for the field trip. Siblings and parents are welcome to join most field trips at the discretion of each venue, but need to pay for their admission, usual at a discounted school/group rate. Parents pay the school directly if they want to attend field trips or bring non-enrolled siblings.
There is no charge for enrolled students in grades K-6 to attend field trips. Enrolled students in grades 7-12 may either use their PLB or self-pay for a discounted entry fee. For non-enrolled siblings and accompanying guardians, admission costs will be determined based on the venue. These costs will usually be at a discounted rate from the regular admission. Please view the registration form for the field trip you are interested in for specific costs and field trip information. Payment must be made to the school at least 24 hours prior to the field trip day and start time. Admission costs for parents/guardians on school-led field trips are not reimbursable through the student's PLB. If a student requires a parent/guardian to attend with their student as a 1:1 chaperone, please notify your Education Coordinator or email Tiffany.
There are no refunds for field trips less than 7 days in advance of field trip date.
School-led field trips are limited to enrolled students and their immediate family members (parents and siblings). Grandparents can attend in place of parents or if approved based on need. Extended family, including cousins, aunts & uncles, and friends cannot attend school-led field trips.
Siblings of enrolled students who are under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Utah Shakespeare Festival, Cedar City
We are so excited to return to Utah's Shakespeare Festival again this year! The play we are watching is "See How They Run" at 2:00pm. We are asking families to arrive no later than 1:30pm to check in and receive your ticket. You are more than welcome to arrive sooner to participate in the free workshops at the Festival. For information on the schedule of events, please check the Festival website.
The play runs for approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Costs: Enrolled students in grades K-6 are free to attend. Tickets for enrolled students in grades 7-12 are $15, payable through the PLB or by clicking the link below to pay out of pocket. Tickets for non-enrolled siblings over the the age of 6 will also be $15. Parent/guardian tickets are half-off from the regular admission fee, and are $30 per ticket.

Also, some of our plays contain material that you may not consider suitable for your children. Please familiarize yourself with the plays before ordering tickets. Child care for those up to the age of ten is provided during all plays, but not during other Festival activities. Our professionally-staffed, safe, and state-licensed facility is located at 123 S. 300 West Street. The cost per play is $15 per child. Child care can be reserved through the Ticket Office by calling 800-PLAYTIX or by clicking here."

Roots of Knowledge at UVU is excited to welcome Elevated students for a 1-hour tour through this beautiful exhibit. The tour will begin at 10am and run for 1 hour.

Vernal Cinemas is happy to welcome Elevated students back for another field trip. Admission to this field trip includes the ticket and a drink/popcorn snack. The movie will begin at 10:20 am, please plan to arrive at 10:00 to check in and receive your snack. If you are dropping off your student, the movie should last approximately 90 minutes.

Our North-B students can give being a painter a try for this fun field trip. We will have the opportunity to paint mugs at Color Me Mine. The studio will open to us at 11:00am. Please arrive for check in no later than 10:45am. If you are dropping off your student, this activity will take approximately 1 hour.

Costs: Enrolled students in grades K-6 are free to attend. Costs for enrolled students in grades 7-12 are $8 or $15, payable through the PLB or by clicking the link below to pay out of pocket. Non-enrolled siblings and guardians ages 2 and up will be required to pay a Tier II of $10 to paint a tile, or a Tier IV of $20 to paint a mug. This cost covers the material, studio and firing time.

Our North-B students will get to speak to a gallery owner about different local artists. Additionally, participants will be able to create a work of art of their own.

Easely Art Studio, South Jordan
Easely Art Studio, South Jordan
Let your inner artist shine at our field trip to Easely Art Studio in South Jordan! The studio will open at 9:00am for our event. Please arrive at 8:45am to check in. If you are dropping off your student, this activity should be completed by 10:30am. Prior to this field trip, please have your student(s) view the gallery and select which picture they would like to paint. https://www.easelyartstudio.com/galleries There is a spot on the registration form to fill in their selection.
