What are Citations?

Citations give other people credit when we use their ideas for our research. We put our citations into alphabetical order at the end of our research on a separate page and title it "Bibliography".

How to Login to EasyBib

1. Go to www.easybib.com

2. Click "login" at the top right corner

3. Login with your ELES Google Account

How to cite a BOOK

1. Login to EasyBib.

2. Go to "My Projects" at the top, then click on "Bibliography" under the State Suitcase Project.

3. Select the "BOOK" tab

4. Enter ISBN or book title and click search.

5. Select correct book.

6. Edit any book information & click "create citation."

7. This citation will be added to your Bibliography.

8. Copy and paste the citation into the bottom of your Outline.

How to cite an ENCYCLOPEDIA

1. Login to Easybib and go to your "State Suitcase" Project. Click on "Bibliography."

2. Select the "All 59 Options" tab.

3. Click on the words "Encyclopedia Article".

3. Edit your Encyclopedia citation by adding:

Article Title
Publisher/Sponsor
Electronically published date
URL

4. Click "Create Citation"

5. Copy and paste citation into the bottom of your Outline.

How to cite a WEBSITE

1. Login to Easybib and go to your "State Suitcase" project. Click on "Bibliography"

2. Click on the "Website" tab

3. Copy and paste the website URL into the search box and click "Cite It"

4. Add the necessary information to complete your citation:

Article title
Website title
Publisher/Sponsor
Electronically published date (year)
Timestamp (Date you visited the website)

5. Click "Complete Citation"

6. Copy and paste the website citation into your Outline.
