Making learning fun!
Welcome to Elements!
A day at Elements is an exciting and unique opportunity for children to get outdoors and have a super fun and adventurous experience, inspired by the natural environment.
Staff at Elements are passionate about children having fun and learning through play and exciting challenging experiences. We think it's awesome to have the skills to do really cool things like build and light fires, whittle sticks and create natural paints and charcoal, just to name a few, and we guarantee that your children will too!
Our sessions are run by a qualified and experienced primary school teacher trained in bushcraft skills and all staff are fully insured and DBS checked with a qualified first aider onsite.
Elements is registered with OFSTED, is a tax free childcare provider and registered with the government childcare grant scheme
VISION
At Elements Outdoor Learning, we are excited about providing fun and inspiring opportunities for children to learn and develop within nature. A place where kids can feel safe and happy, connect to the earth and its elements through an ethos of holistic, active, practical and cooperative learning, following their interests and allowing them time and space to develop their skills and knowledge.
Facilitated by our passionate and skilled staff, children will benefit from unique, informal and fun learning opportunities, stimulating their curiosity in the natural world to develop creativity, scientific, outdoor and bush skills through imaginative play, team building activities, science experiments, art & craft, story-telling, drama, word and number games.
Through this mixture of free-play, child-centred learning and adult facilitated sessions, we aim to foster meaningful connections with nature and with each other; to build confidence, self-esteem and friendships. Our purpose and primary focus is on every child’s individual wellbeing, personal growth, self-awareness, social and emotional development while exploring and enjoying the natural environment around them.
