Dr Dave A Hewitt received the MEng degree in Digital Electronics and Ph.D. in Power Electronics from the University of Sheffield, UK in 2011 and 2016, respectively. He is currently a Research Associate in Power Electronics with the Electrical Machines and Drives Group in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Sheffield.
His PhD focused on the development of improved power density inductors through the implementation of thermal management techniques. More recently, his current research interests include reliability, condition monitoring and high frequency modelling of electric machines.
