Strong Public Schools for Every Child

Every child — no matter their ZIP code — deserves access to a high-quality public education. Our rural schools are the heart of our communities, yet too many districts are forced to rely on repeated local levies just to stay afloat. I will fight for fair, stable, and fully funded public schools, so classrooms have the teachers, counselors, and resources students need to succeed.

I support full implementation of Ohio’s Fair School Funding Plan and will work to ensure rural and Appalachian districts receive the support they deserve. Investing in education means investing in our workforce, our economy, and the future of our region.

Tax Relief and Responsible Fiscal Policy

Families in our district are feeling the pressure of rising property taxes, utility costs, and everyday expenses. I will work to deliver real tax relief for working families, seniors, and small businesses, while making sure the state lives within its means.

That means advocating for property tax reform, greater transparency on levies and assessments, and responsible budgeting that prioritizes essential services like education, infrastructure, and public safety — without wasting taxpayer dollars or shifting costs onto local communities.

Transparent, Accessible, and Accountable Government

People deserve a representative who listens, shows up, and tells the truth — not one who disappears to Columbus and forgets who sent them there. I believe in open government, honest communication, and strong constituent service.

As your state representative, I will hold regular town halls, maintain open lines of communication, and be responsive when residents need help navigating state agencies. Government should work for the people — not special interests — and I will always put our communities first.
