As part of our compliance, each district is provided with model wellness policy guidelines, which we annually review and update as part of the District Wellness Policy.

Each Kansas School District is required to have a Wellness Committee that regularly reviews district wellness activities and programs. This group is also charged with recommending policies that promote positive student and employee health.
The district has adopted specific policies to support student health and wellness. Those policies and guidelines are provided for parents and staff members in the USD 490 WELLNESS GUIDELINES attached here for your reference.
