Starting Class
Students are in their seat with their materials out. Begin working on board directions.
Students are using the designated voice level while working.
Ending Class
All materials are collected and returned to the designated locations.
All trash is picked up students desk area is neat and organized.
Students sit in their assigned seats.
Teacher dismisses class, not the bell.
Collecting Papers
Papers to be turned in to the designated draw on the wall by the printer.
Electronic assignments- make sure they are submitted.
Restroom Pass
Only one student is allowed to go at a time.
Bathroom pass must be on the student's desk so I know they are out of the room.
Bathroom breaks are 5 minutes or less.
No bathroom during the first and last ten minutes of class or during whole group instruction time.
Morning and Afternoon announcements
Students will immediately become silent when announcements begin.
Students will be attentive to the speaker.
Make-Up Work
It is the students' responsibility to collect work and they must ask for the work on the first day they are back in school.
For each day absent, the student will have 2 days to complete and turn in the make-up work. Example- student is gone for 1 day they have 2 days to complete work. Student is gone for 3 days they have 6 days to complete work.
Voice Levels
0= Silence; no talking
1= Whisper
2=Normal conversation voice
3=Raised voice; teacher instructional voice
4=Shouting; outdoors only, or emergency
