Thanks SO much to everyone who came out to support us at our spring car wash yesterday!  We all had a great time, washed a TON of cars, played some pep tunes, and made some good money for the band program!

There is SO much coming up in the next few weeks...  Please make sure you read through everything below so you can stay on top of all the year-end activities.

Band camp dates have been finalized, and are listed below in Mr. Sayre's section.  I've also updated the calendar with these details.

And don't forget our band banquet this Saturday!

Concert Uniform Turn-In

We will be collecting concert uniforms after the band concert on Thursday evening.  Students need to wear something under their uniform so they can turn it in.

Band Banquet

Our annual band banquet is this Saturday, 5/11 - checkin starts at 11:30, lunch will be served around noon, and we'll wrap up around 2 PM.  This is a dressy affair, so be sure to look your best while we celebrate all the hard work these students put in this year.

Graduation Chaperones

Band Booster Scholarship

Our band booster scholarship(s) are awarded to help graduating seniors continue their music performance education in college.  For all the details, see the Scholarships page from the band handbook.
Send your submissions to president@eldorado.band by 5/8 - THIS COMING WEDNESDAY.

AND a word from Mr. Sayre...

Hello Eldorado Band Community,

You did a SPECTACULAR job at the car wash on Saturday! We were busy washing nearly the entire time.  The carwash was a great reminder of what it is like to work outdoors together as a band. We have a lot to prepare for this week! 2 concerts, leadership applications, a banquet, and MORE!

Leadership applications are due this Wednesday.  Double check that you hit submit on the google form in our Google Classroom.  Interviews will be held next week. 

The Jazz Concert is on Tuesday at 6:30 PM.  Come support your friends!

The Concert Bands concert is on Thursday at 6:30 PM.  We will also turn in uniforms after this concert so be sure to bring something to change into afterwards.  

The Band Banquet is on Saturday! Dress up, come for some fun, and let's CELEBRATE your awesome year! 

After this week we will have graduation, leadership announcements, and SPRING CLEANING before the summer hits.  I thought it important to give you and your family the month of June off from band activities so you can come in fresh in July.  

Important summer Dates: 

Percussion Camp (all percussionists): July 9-12 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, EHS Band Room

Color Guard (all Color Guard): July 15-17, 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Band Camp for NEW MEMBERS: July 17, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Band Camp for ALL MEMBERS: July 18, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
