West Cincinnati Wrestling Duals

Date: Sunday, November 23, 2025

Location: Elder High School (wrestling gym) 3900 Vincent Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45205

Weigh-in: Remote weigh-in on Saturday or in-person on Sunday, November 23th from   9:00 -9:30 am at Elder HS.

Remote weigh-ins procedure: wrestlers must weigh-in on a certified scale by the same coach by 8pm on Saturday.  Coaches must bring a copy of the weigh-in sheet to skin check at 10 am.

Wrestlers are required to weigh-in in a competition uniform and must pass skin at 10:00 am on Sunday.

Registration: Email team’s final roster to Pete Suer at suerpe@elderhs.net  by 10 PM, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16th. 

Fee: Registration fee of $325 per team ($10 per wrestler for extras).

 Extra wrestlers are allowed to wrestle exhibition matches after the conclusion of the dual.

A single check will be collected from each team representative by 10:00 AM. 

No refunds for withdrawals. Make the check payable to “Elder Youth Wrestling.”    

Schedule: Round 1 begins at 11 am (or ASAP)

Teams: Indiana Outlaws, Jr. Crusaders, WCW, Lebanon, Watterson, and Prodigy

Format:    6 teams:  5  team duals on 3 mats

 Matches will be three (3) 1.5 minute periods with standard overtime rules with 15  point technical fall.

Awards: Team Banner (tie breaker criteria: goes most team points overall, then matches won, pins, and then takedowns)

Weight classes for 8th Grade & Under (plus 2 lb. weight allowance) 

55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 119, 129, 139, 148, 159, 172, and 209 (19 weights)

Other:  Admission is $5 adults. Kids are free

Concessions will include pizza in the afternoon and snacks/drinks all day.
